这个周六给我弟辅导英语,碰到了这么个选择题,就是题上的那个句子,把are playing空出来了,进行选择,我记得英语里有就近原则这么一说,好像是两个并列主语同时出现时,be动词根据离得近的那个选择,于是就让他选了is playing,结果他说老师讲的是are playing.本人感到很不解,是不是我理解错了,还是弟弟现在学习的重点是现在进行时时态,不涉及就近原则?求各位英语达人解释下

这是并列主语,不用就近的.
如果是here.there等副词引出的倒装句用倒装.
