Travel is the Best Teacher
Travel is an advantageous activity that we ought to think highly of. It releases the pressure and worries from our daily life. What is more, we can learn something good enough to change our life. Among all the travel experiences I had in Taiwan, the trip to the village in Hualien is the most unforgettable. Due to elementary school’s extracurricular activities, my classmates and I arrived at this old town where was built for Japanese immigrant in the past. After the introduction, we walked together on the heels of the king of us. The street was extremely silent in addition to the clicks of us. Walking on tiptoe, we visited the old town carefully. As we saw the old woman who went through Japanese time waved to us in the grocery store, we afraid of her, thinking of her as the Japanese witch in the candy house. We flung out of the grocery store after the kind witch giving us candies. Along the road, we dropt in many house in the neighborhood. Most of them are welcome to chat with us. Gradually, we understood this town’s story. As Japanese came back to Japan, the town ever disserted because people left one after another. Most of young people discontinued their hometown to look for work in the big city, leaving their family behind. As a elementary school student, it was such a thrilling story for me, simultaneously, I learned something about the life. Travel is the best teacher for us to teach us something we can’t learn from school
