Fu Long was always boasting about the famous people he knew.
One day,one of his colleagues in the newspaper office where he worked,decided to challenge him.
He did not have to wait long.Before the end of the day,Fu Long said,"When I was having tea with the Prime Minister the other day …"
"Stop!" his colleague said."I'm tired of your boasting.Prove to me that you know the Prime Minister well enough to have tea with him."
"Very well." Fu Long said."Come with me."
He took his colleague to the Prime Minister's office and spoke to his secretary.
She told the Prime Minister that Fu Long would like to speak to him.
A few seconds later the door of the Prime Minister's office opened and the Prime Minister stood there,his hand outstretched.
"Come in,Fu Long." he said."It's good to see you."
Fu Long's colleague was really surprised,but there was nothing he could say.The three of them sat and talked together for a while,and then Fu Long and his colleague went back to work.
Then a few days later,Fu Long said,"When I was talking to the President the other day …"
"Stop!" his colleague said."Although you have proved you know the Prime Minister,I really don't believe you are friends with the President as well."
"Come with me." Fu Long said.
He took his colleague to the President's palace.The guard at the gate immediately let him into the building.A few minutes later he came out onto the balcony with the President.
At that moment a tourist came up to Fu Long's colleague."Excuse me," he said,"but can you tell me the name of that man standing next to Fu Long?"
