in experiments ____young teens are allowed to sleep as long as they want,they tend to sleep an average of 9 hours 答案有that 和 where,为什么不是that呢?我感觉that 可以当experiments 的同位语,来解释为什么不行? 为什么一定要选that来充当状语,后面的句子我认为并没有缺什么成分啊. 说简单点.我英语小白

很简单,把experiment前in 去了就可以成为同位语从句了,如Scientists carried out an experimrnt that young teens are allowed to sleep as long as they want; 因为前面还有in,是in experiment,词组一般不能作同位语先行词的.
再问：这个是定语从句还是状语饿。。。有点乱
再答：你给的句子是地点状语从句, 我那句子是同位语从句,从句结构完整,所以肯定不是定语从句
