Being an Only Child
I am an only child,but I think it is hard to say if it is better for a kid growing up,being an only child or having siblings.Everythings have two points.
Sometimes I wish I had a brother or sister.When you’re an only child and your parents always very busy,you’ll feel very lonely.My life as an only child is too organized,too easy,and too quiet.Having a brothers and sisters would be more fun.My mother used to talk to me about her five siblings.When she was a child,she can paly house with them,to share clothes with and tell deep,dark secrets too.Even when she and her sisters fight,it became a funny memory.I think only child will usually have communication-problems.They tend to grow up selfish and never been close to their parents.
But some people think being an only child is better than having siblings.Compliance to the government's 'one child' policy will be the biggest advantage I reckon.Moreover,parents will put more attention onto their only child,as a result,the kid gets better educaction,better care and better foster.Once the only children and those who are not only children work together,the disadvantage of the not only children will easily be seen.When they meet some difficulties,they won’t have a strong will to work it out by themselves.They will just ask someone to help them.And the time they are facing their failure,they may be jealous of the success of their siblings.
Of course,some not only children won’t meet what I just mentioned.But I want to say,I’m so exciting to be an only child in my family.
