A Brief Introduction to Major
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I,the undersigned,am a senior in the Computer Science Department of Tsinghua University.I major in the Application of Computer in Rural Areas.The orientation of my major is to apply computer science to the cultivation of crops.This is a brand new major,which has a promising prospect.
The foremost reason for me to choose the major is apparent.I was born in the countryside and was brought up there.What’s more,the majority of China’s population still lives in the rural areas.A major which can solve the problem of the majority is of significance to me.
Since China is a farming nation,the development of farming and rural areas means that my major is a right choice and will be more conducive to every Chinese.
