1.数几百万的建筑物倒塌了.到目前为止,四川汶川已造成69159人遇难,374141人受伤,17469人失踪.
2.当地震发生的时候,很多学生,正在上课,所以地震中,很多学生丧生,很多人在这次地震当中,失去了父母,也有很多人失去了儿女或者兄弟姐妹.
3.地震发生后不久,国家领导人,解放军,医生,专家都立刻赶到灾区.
4.国内外很多人都伸出援助之手,捐物捐钱帮助灾区人民.
5.面对地震造成的严重后果,我们感到难过,但是同时我们也感到欣慰,因为中国人民能在为难的时候,互相帮助.

Many of the students were learning in schools, therefore, many students lost their life during the earthquake. Also, many people lost their parents, children or brothers and sisters!
