the story is worth reading.书上改写为the story is worthy to be read.但the story is interesting to read.这句也是正确的表达..为什么前句要用不定式被动结构,而后句不用?

即使根据薄冰高级语法,我也只能做出这样的解释：
1．worth在我看来其实相当于一个连词"值．．．" 后面接名词或动名词或直接钞票
2.worthy 用的最多的短语是worth of ,效果相当于worth.
worthy to be done其实很少用,中学就学了,过多了这么年都没屁用．
．根据语法书,做定语等时二者都可用的情况下,不定式的被动形式有时和主动形式(反射性不等式)表示的意思一样,有时表示的意思不一样；有的习惯于主动形式,有的习惯于用被动形式．最后归结于：习惯．尼玛坑爹啊
－－我只能用另一条来解释：主动倾向主观,被动倾向客观
举个例：she is to blame for it.　明明应该是 she is to be blamed for it .可是习惯用前者．
3.worthwile
这个词来源于 worth one's while,所以worthwhile 后面跟主动式不定式,　因为其中隐含的不定式逻辑主语．
