1.Because of the internet’s popularity in the 21th century,we often take our books for granted. But do you ever think if it weren’t so easy to find a copy of your favourite book? What if the printing press haven’t been invented?Well, there might never have been a Renaissance and we probably won’t have the technology that we are having right now!
2.Before the invention of the printing press, books had to be written by hand and were usually owned by the rich or by large organizations such as the church. But after Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press in the fifteenth century, the rarity of books dropped sharply. After the spread of information and technology came the spread of ideas. The Renaissance could never have occurred without being able to print ideas and spread them to the world.
3.Even though the printing did exist before Gutenberg’s time,he stood apart from the previous machines by allowing for much faster printing, which led to the rapid spread of information. His invention has made great effect on literacy, history and the way we present our information today. His printing press was probably to the fifteenth century of what the internet was to the twentieth century.
4.Of all the greatest invention, the printing press is more than likely the invention with the most impact.Although it only made literature more available, this new invention that access to literature has opened the door to the renaissance and the Scientific Revolution.Researcher and scientist could learn from one another and share their ideas to others.Their ideas would be readily available for the next person to build on their research which helped the development of technology.
5.We are living in the “information age”,where we have the world at our fingertips by using the World Wide Web.Through the internet we have access to news, literature, reference, music for research. However,if the invention of the printing press hasn’t been invented,we probably won’t have the technology that we have right now.John Man suggested in his book,” Gutenberg’s invention made the soil from which sprang modern history, science, popular literature, the emergence of the nation state so much of everything by which define modernity.”
6.Without the printing press many important documents and speeches could have been lost. The Holy Bible may have been published in different version.Abraham Lincoln’s “Emancipation Proclamation” and Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech could have been lost or changed by hearsay. We may not even hear the same music that played during Mozart and Beethoven’s time.In a world without printing press,we could still be living in a literacy dark age.
Gutenberg’s printing press did change our world; it changed the history, technology and the future of human being. It definitely should be a reminder not to take our books, our history and our knowledge for granted.

the invention of printing press has changed the world
1.Because of the Internet’s popularity in the 21th century, we often take our books for granted. However, have you ever thought if it isn't so easy to find a copy of your favourite book? (此句用完成时;没有必要虚拟)What if the printing press hasn't been invented? (have-has,建议用一半现在时就行了,阐述一个事实,hasn't been -isn't)Well, there may never have been a Renaissance and we probably won’t have the technology that we are having right now!
2.Before the invention of the printing press, books had to be written by hand and were usually owned by the rich or by large organizations ,for example, the church.(这样改,停顿较好) But after Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press in the fifteenth century, the rarity of books dropped sharply. The spread of information and technology resulted in the spread of ideas.(不需要加连词after,came-resulted in 导致) The Renaissance could never have occurred without being able to print ideas and spread them to the world.
3.Even though the printing did exist before Gutenberg’s time, he stood apart from the previous machines by allowing much faster printing(不加for), which led to the rapid spread of information. His invention had great effect on literacy(用一般过去时,made-had), history and the way we present our information today. His printing press was probably to the fifteenth century of what the internet was to the twentieth century.(这句话什么意思?)
4.Of all the greatest inventions(invention可数), probably, the printing press is more than other inventions with the most impact. (这样改较好)Although it only makes literature more available, (陈述事实用make)this new invention that accesses(assess加es) to literature has opened the door to the renaissance and the Scientific Revolution. Researchers and scientists(复数) can learn from one another and share their ideas with others.(share with) Their ideas will be readily available for the next person to build their researches on(调整语序)which help the development of technology.
5.We are living in the “information age”, where we have the world at our fingertips by using the World Wide Web. Through the internet ,we have access to news, literature, reference and music (改). However, if the invention of the printing press isn't (最好改掉)invented, we probably won’t have the technology that we have right now. John Man suggested in his book,” Gutenberg’s invention made the soil from which sprang modern history, science, popular literature, the emergence of the nation state so much of everything by which define modernity.”
6.Without the printing press, many important documents and speeches could have been lost. The Holy Bible may have been published in different versions. Abraham Lincoln’s “Emancipation Proclamation” and Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech could have been lost or changed by hearsay. We may not even listen to (改hear) the same music that played during Mozart and Beethoven’s time. In a word(不是world), without printing press, we could still be living in a literacy dark age.
Gutenberg’s printing press did change our world; it changed the history, technology and the future of human being. It definitely should be a reminder of not taking our books, our history and our knowledge for granted.(改)
