首先,为什么不用一般将来时?在这里用将来进行时的用意是什么?
第二,为什么后面是intends 而不是和前面的对称 intending t

1.现在进行时表将来,表示现在已安排好的未来事项,行程等活动.
I know you are arriving next Sunday.（我知道你下个星期天就要到了）
进行时表将来,所以 arriving 后面+next Sunday.
2.表将来的现在进行时有时从属于将来时态.如：
(1) On election night we’ll be telling you what’s happening in various places in this country.
到了选举的夜晚,我们将把全国各地的情况告诉大家.
3.intends与will be arriving为两个并列的谓语.and前后两个成分的时态是不一样的.
