except和except for的区别!看来看去没看懂!
看了很多人说的.什么except就是同类之间的,except for是异类之间的,这根本就无法判别什么事同类什么事异类.
有的说except for=besifes,
看了这个例子之后我稍微懂了点
They all like him except me.(他们都喜欢他,除了我)
They all like him except for me.(不光是我,他们也喜欢他)
如果是这么说的话,那我看这个me应该更加像except是异类,except for是同类啊.
照这个来,Lion Head Hill is not worth seeing except for its old temples.应该翻译为不光是古寺,狮头山都没有值得看的.
结果书上的翻译是除了那些古寺以外,狮头山没什么可看的.
类似的还有：She was all alone in the world except for an old aunt.
搞得又不懂了.
所以非常希望知道到底应该怎么区别except和except for.
搞不清楚睡不着觉了.越详细例子越多越好.
完全弄清楚之后追加分数.

1.两者都是“除此之外,（没有）,”的意思,出去的部分是不包括在内的了.
except既可以接that从句,也可以接短语,except后接的部分是与整体性质一
样的.
except for不能接句子,只能接短语,except for后面所接的部分是与整体性质不一样的.
例如：there is no one in the bus except an old lady.
old lady和bus是不同性质的.
all have gone to the concert except Tom.
all 和 Tom 性质都是一样的.
2.besides 的意思是“除了...（还有）”,除了的部分也是包括在内的.
besides the old lady,there are a lot of sheep in the yard.
(old lady 和 sheep 都包括在内了)
all of the sheep are in the yard except for the old lady.
(sheep 和old lady 是不一样的性质的,而且在院子里的只有sheep没有old lady,那么old lady 是不包括在内的)
3.你说的同类应该是我说得性质的意思吧,我认为比较的是两部分的性质.

这里的作文composition 和 spelling mistakes 明显是性质不一样的了.
we all went to the park yesterday except you.
we 和 you 都是性质一样的人
