如果句子中有过去的时间点,比如说yesterday或是when i was in Britain的话,是不是就一定不能用现完或是过完,即使句中还有for+时间段的词?
但是我遇到了这样一道题：They ___ on the design for almost a week when i joined them.
A have been working B had been working
C have worked D had worked
这道题中明显是填 had been working 的,但是题中也有过去的时间点啊.
与此对应的另一道题：-Have u ever read The Brief History of Time?
-Yes,while in Britain, i ___ it a couple of times.
A have read B read C had read D was reading
这里是选了B的,那为什么又不选C呢
请高手帮忙解释下,O(∩_∩)O谢谢

“如果句子中有过去的时间点,比如说yesterday或是when i was in Britain的话,是不是就一定不能用现完或是过完,即使句中还有for+时间段的词?”任何语言我感觉也应该没有完全绝对的语法公式,要看语境语义.第一题They had been working on the design for almost a week when i joined them.句子里,work on the design这个动作,发生在过去的某个时间点之前,而且延续了一段时间,明显是填 had been working 的.
第二题,while in Britain,i read the book a couple of times.句子里,read 这个动作,是过去、间断发生的,只能用过去时.
如果句子要变成：Before I came back from Britain,I had read the book a couple of times.这时候可以用had read,因为主从句形成了时间的比较,read这个动作发生在我从英国回来这个过去的动作之前,那主句相对过去时的从句就要用过去完成时.
但while in Britain,i read the book a couple of times.只有个过去的时间描述,没有更早的比较,就是单纯的过去时态.
