Story:The Gingerbread Man
One morning a baker said to his wife,”Today I’ll bake a gingerbread man.He’ll look just right in our shop window.”So the baker made a gingerbread man and put him in the oven.
Before long they heard a noise,A little voice began to shout,”Open the door Let me out!As soon as the baker opened the oven door;the gingerbread man jumped down to the floor and ran right out of the shop.The gingerbread man just ran and ran,singing;”Run,run,as fast as you can,you can’t catch me,I’m the gingerbread man!”
In the woods hid a hugry fox.He called ,”What’s the hurry ,little gingerbread man ”But the gingerbread man just ran and ran,singing;”Run,run,as fast as you can,you can’t catch me,I’m the gingerbread man.”He was just thinking how clever he was,when he came to a wide,wide river.”Jump onto my tail and I’ll take you across.”The gingerbread man thanked the sly fox and he jumped onto his bushy tail.The fox started to swim across the wide,wide river.
Very soon he said,”Little gingerbread man,you’re too heavy for my tail.Why not jump onto my red,red back?So the gingerbread man jumped onto the fox’s back.But soon the fox said,”Little gingerbread man,you’re too heavy for my back.Why not hop onto my shiny,black nose?
So the gingerbread man hopped onto the fox’s nose.just as they come near to the bank,fox tossed back his head,And with a flick of his neck,he tossed the gingerbread man up,up in the air,The gingerbread man fell down,straight into the fox’s gaping mouth .And that was the end of the gingerbread man.

树林里面隐藏着一个饥饿的狐狸.狐狸说道：“小小姜饼人,你急什么急啊?”但是,那个姜饼人仍然边跑边唱：跑啊跑,跑啊跑,尽你最快速度跑你也追不到我,因为我是姜饼人!”在他来到一条很宽很宽的河流旁边之前,它还在想着自己是多么的聪明.“跳到我尾巴上吧,我带你过河”,狐狸建议道.那个姜饼人谢了狐狸,跳了上去.很快,狐狸又说：“小小姜饼人,你对我尾巴来说重了点,为什么不跳到我红红的背上去呢?”于是,姜饼人跳到了狐狸的背上.但是过了不久,狐狸又改口了,“小小姜饼人,你对我的背来说重了点,为什么不跳到我光滑的,黑黑的鼻子上去呢?”所以,姜饼人又跳到了它的鼻子上.正当他们来到河岸的时候,狐狸狠狠地甩了一下头,它把姜饼人高高地抛了起来,到了空中.姜饼人开始下落,最后落到护理那张大嘴里面.这也就是姜饼人最终的结局.
