我认为第一句是个病句,或者说意思表达得不确切,第二句是“她看上去已经知道了”.
完成时表示过去发生的事,对现在有影响的（这是语法知识点,不是理解句子意思的关键）——无论如何这里说的是“已经知道”的意思,只有完成时是恰当的.
注意英语里面用被动语态,经常只是为了表达一种行为但隐藏或者不明示谁做的.比如在这句话里,用be told是表达“有人告诉她”而不是“她自己发现”——但不想说或者没必要说是谁告诉她的,在翻译的时候也可以说“好像已经有人告诉她了”.
