As for other possibilities,we’d like to see if it would be possible to visit fund managers/financial advisors (“vermogensbeheerders”) that manage funds of private individuals and/or institutions.These can be larger companies,private banks,or individuals; the main idea is that they should have knowledge of the local investment market and access to capital,whether it be private or institutional.Our purpose for meeting these people is to see if China could be an interesting market for our proposition.Ideally,people would not only give us feedback,but would also be interested in working together with us now or in the future.Unfortunately,I don’t have enough knowledge (yet) of the local market to suggest specific names of companies.I know that several of the dutch banks have subsidiaries in China,which could be a starting point,but my feeling is that we’re better off meeting local companies that are eager to get access to western-style and innovative fund management.
