I often write to Mary and tell her about the things that are happened at my company,and she often writes to me about her work.
为什么是把happend变成happening,为什么不把are 去掉

happen没被动是肯定的.本句去除are也是对的,表示已发生的事,如改成现在进行时也对,表示正在发生的事,叫生动.
再问：告诉发生的事还能用现在进行？
再答：可以的。现在进行时的一个含义是：说话的前后几天所发生的事，不包含说话当时。如： -----这几天你在干啥？ -----我在装修新房。（说话时不在装修） ---What are you doing these days ? ---I'm decorating the new house. 故： I'm writing to tell you what's happening here these days 是对的。
