To begin with,the preference on choosing clothes of two genders varies a lot in differnt aspects.
In the most cases,men usually tends to pick up clothes on demand.By that i mean,wearing a suitable and proper set of clothes is quite essential to them.Take my own experience as an examlpe.Instead of ruining my figure in front of my boss when I was attending to a borad meeting,I prefer to choosing a formal wearing than a comfortable T-shirt and shorts(although I like them much better).
By contrast,in my point of view,women are more likely to go shopping on clothes when they are in extreme moods.They regrad it as a way of releasing their pressure.Thus,it is considerable for them to choose what they are going to wear by the rule.Sometimes they could just buy a clothes which is defintely not suitable for them without any hesitation.
To sum up,I suppose that men are wiser than women in terms of shopping on clothes,which is probably a terrible situation for sellers.
