Talents and Practice
Nowadays,more and more different kinds of talents are discovered.Some of them have gifts,but others’ success is owning to practice.Therefore,there are two different opposite opinions about it.One pay more attention to talent,another to practice.These two opinions will be discussed as follows.
The first opinion is that some people are born with certain gifts,for instance,for sport or music,and others are not.Indeed,there are a great deal of people in the world have been named as talents,such as Mozart,who become famous since 5 years old.But talents are not just for sport or music,but a lot of areas,which are not always believed as talents.Furthermore,the name of talents should not be the patents of famous people,but all of whom have gifts.
On the contrary,it is widely convinced that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.People without talents can learn and practise to achieve their goals.For example,the snooker player Mark Selby,the youngest player who entered the finals of Snooker World Championship,always stops the ball in wrong place.However,he has found the right way to improve.He practises day by day and becomes a snooker star now.Honestly,practice is a significant point for every one,even those called talents.
In brief,different people have different ideas.The argument between talents and practice will last for a long time.In addition,the author convinces that everyone has his own talents,but some are in unknown areas,so these groups of people are not considered as talents.Moreover,the most successful person is not the one with highest talent or hardest practice.He is the talent who believes“ No Pain,No Gain.”
