It’s very exciting that China wins the right to hold Olympic Games. As a Chinese I feel proud of this.
For the Olympics, Chinese Government hires lots of new building designers for creating a new Beijing. The purpose is to make every visitor with indelible impression.
For the Olympic Green Intention, a “Water Cube” was born.
The “Water Cube” is the nickname offered to the National Aquatics Center, to be used for water events during the Olympics. The facility can look like a square or a big bubble, depending on your point of view.
As quoted in an article that I read that the “Bird’s Nest” is a new idea of building too. With its gray net-like exterior, the main venue for the Beijing Olympic is the National Stadium, or “Bird’s Nest.” The outside area of the stadium is related to the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. Audience member’s ticket will be imprinted with “tiger,” “dragon,” “rabbit,” and so forth, indicating distinct seating sections.
The torch handing down’s circuit is the longest once of every Olympics. The tours by carrying the torch are more than 13.7 million kilometer; the torch’s handing persons are more than 192000. They pass through 20 countries and 132 cities.
There are some difficulties for Chinese government to face: some people who want to go against the Olympic Games held in Beijing, but that will be useless, because all the Chinese will never give up, for the Olympics to keep going on! Even if some students are in other foreign countries, they all support China FOREVER!
