China's Premier Wen Jiabao Saturday gave U.N.chief Ban Ki-moon a dramatic look at damage caused by the massive quake that hit Sichuan province earlier this month.
"The world will not forget," Ban told Wen,who appealed the U.N.chief to help raise international aid for the region.
两种用法我都是第一次见到,如果不是出处比较正规,甚至怀疑它是不是病句了.
有这样的用法吗?能不能举几个例子?
回复gufanslab：句子意思很容易理解，appeal for 和appeal to都很常用，但是有appeal sb to do give sb a look应该是看了某人一眼。

回复gufanslab：句子意思很容易理解，appeal for 和appeal to都很常用，但是有appeal sb to do give sb a look应该是看了某人一眼。
这应该有点口语化了,要不就是"中国式英语",如 give me a look.这句是有的,后面那个没见过.
