1为什么空里要填teaches,为什么不是teach,虽然用前者有语感,但怎样说通语法上的关系?
2.为什么空里要填stay,而不是staying,now不是应该用进行时staying么?
可是第一句中那个是主语呢？

你的基础语法有严重问题,估计你是成人英语吧,问得很到位,不过其语法水平不超过3到5年级.
1.是英语中“在一般现在时中,当主语是第三人称单数时,动词要加s,（请关注：加s有几种形式.）这里who默认为第三人称单数.
2.can 是情态动词,单独不能构成谓语,一定要与实义动词连用才能构成谓语动词.实义动词在情态动词后一般用原形.
3.实际上,第二个问题问得非常好.
如果是他现在不能呆在家里.表示能力.则用”He can't stay at home now.“.
但是由于can't经常表示”绝不可能“,与must表示”非常肯定的猜测“对应.那么He can't be staying at home now.意思是：他现在绝不可能正呆在家里.
从本句话来看,第二句似乎更好.
