为什么第一个空格不是 is watching呢?另外关于过去进行时什么时候要加BE什么时候不用有点弄不明白.

如果第二的答案是was making,第一个的答案必定是was watching呀.答案错了吧.
While后面不加Be动词的时候是表示伴随.
比如My friends are laughing while watching TV.我的朋友们边笑边看电视.
