take后接交通工具,不特指时加a,泛指一种交通方式.e.g.We can take a train to Beijing.我们可以选择坐火车这种方式去北京.
特指某种交通工具时,加the.所谓特指,即说话人对所描述的对象有明确的目标性,指“某一趟车”.e.g.Missed the last bus,I'm going to take the next train there.我错过了最后一班大巴,打算坐下一班火车去哪儿.
通常说来这两种表述差别不大,非要区分的话,一般我是这么判定的：
①选择句和表示“可以/不可以（坐火车）”的句子中,用“a”的情况多些.
e.g.Would you like to take a train or take a bus?你想坐火车还是巴士?
We can't take a train to America.我们不可能坐个火车去美国.
②有特定时间、方向等限制的,一般用“the”
e.g.I must take the train back tonight.我今晚必须坐火车回去.（特指今晚这班）
Take the bus bound for Tian'anmen and get off at Chongwenmen.搭乘开往天安门方向的汽车,在崇文门下车.
由于前句中有“next friday”,即说话人所描述的火车是“下周五”这一天开出的车,因此我觉得选B好些.
