Courage Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is a sorrow, overcome it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Sometimes we feel that obligations are like burden, so heavy on our back.; pressure is like the overcast sky, hanging over head; death and loss are like a dark cave, and we go deeper and deeper, hard to breathe. But on the other hand, only when we’re cornered can we be the strongest man we’ve never been before. Courage isn’t an impulse, motivating us to achieve things others dares not to do. That may lead you to be a criminal, a thief, or a person who be addicted to drugs. There’s a story. Once a monk arranged a boxing match between a child and an experienced boxer. Each time the fighter stuck the boy, he fell down, but at once the boy stood up. “What ashame,” the boy’s father said. “I never thought he could be so easily knocked down..” But the monk said: “I’m sorry that’s all you see. Don’t you see that each time he falls down, he stand up again instead of crying? That’s the kind of courage you want him to have.” Courage is a strength that you can refresh even after a great defeat. Courage is a power that though getting hurt, but you still stand up to run. Courage is a spirit you face everything even thought knowing it’s hard to overcome. If each time you’re knocked down, you have the courage to stand up again, then you can be proud of yourself.Don’t Lose Your Courage Never shall I forget the first English lesson given by Miss Liu. On that day, when she entered the classroom, we found that she was a young and beautiful lady with a big smile on her face. Then she introduced herself saying that we should call her Miss Liu instead of Teacher Liu, a moment later, she let all of us go to the blackboard and say something about ourselves in English in turn. When it was my turn, I felt so shy and fearful that I didn’t dare to say a word before the class. She came up to me and said kindly, “Don’t be afraid. I believe you can do it. Come and have a try.” My face turned red when I heard that. At last, I went to the blackboard and was able to do it quite well. She praised for what I had done. Up to now, I can still remember her words in the first English lesson: “Practice makes perfect. Don’t lose your courage when you meet with difficulties. Try on and on until you succeed.”还满意吗?不合适的话,可以换.
