一个公司或者一个机构需要一个管理者,而他下面还要有很多个部门管理者.每个人的思想是不同的,管理风格是不同的.再说管理是个很抽象的东西,并不像书上所说的那么简单,很多事情你要因人而定,还要根据时代的进化而更改.所以,管理风格我个人觉得没有最好的.
美国爱荷华大学的Kurt Lewin即为管理风格论的代表.在1939年他将领导依使用职权的方式分为三种:autocratic、democratic or participative,laissez-faire,free-rein.即使如此简易的分类,每一类仍然有许多的实质差异.比如说,有些独裁者是被部属所热爱推崇,很关心民间疾苦.同样的,也有参与式的领导不但倾听部属意见,还竭尽所能的提供必要支持,让部属完成任务.在1958年,他奈班与史密特(R.Tanenbaum & W.H.Schmidt)提出一种连续性理论.将领导方式依下属参与决策的程度加以分类,大致分为四种:autocratic decision、joint decision、delegation、consultation.当然,领导者与部属之间影响力的比重不只区分为四种,若是切割再细些就变成一系列连续性的各种程度领导风格.整个决策中有一部分是领导者的影响力(A),另一部分是被领导者的影响力(B).若A比B小,表示为以下属为中心的领导模式;若A比B大,表示以上司为中心的领导模式.A=0是无为而治,B=0是独裁.若从整个决策看,那么要满足A+B=1的A、B组合有无限多种.无限多组合就构成一系列连续性的各种程度领导风格.
由此可见管理风格并没有最好的.每个人的能力不同他的管理方式也是不同的,即使大家都学的是同种管理方式,但是每个领导者的魅力不同,他所带领的团队产生的效果也不同.简单的一个例子,一个很有能力很有魅力深得员工厚爱的领导来管理他的团队,总是比一个用同样管理风格的没能力没魅力的领导效果好.这真的是因人而定,所以我个人认为真的没有一个最还的管理风格.
