Strategy for the FY 2008 budget allocation
Strategy for the FY 2008 budget allocation is set to be in harmony with the 10th
National Economic and Social Development Plan (2007-2011) and the government's
policy.It consists of 6 strategies and a program on public debt management.Within the strategies,a number of 32 budgeting plans have been specified to link budget allocating strategies with the agencies' responsibilities on the basis of principles,transparency,fairness,thrift and efficiency.Important aspects of the strategy can be summarized as follows:
Strategy 1 :Encouraging people to have good health,virtue-based knowledge
and ability to adjust to knowledge-based society.
Strategy 2 :Poverty alleviation,distribution of prosperity
to rural area and attenuation of income gap.
Strategy 3 :Enhancement of competitiveness for efficient and
sustainable economic expansion.
Strategy 4 :Preservation of natural resources,environment and
making use of bio-diversity for the economy and society.
Strategy 5 :Development of politics and management of
the public sector with efficiency and righteousness.
Strategy 6 :Upholding national security and peace in the society.
Strategy 7 :Program on management of public debts.
