B：There is about half an acrea roundthe house．That’s plenty of space．
A：Then we can grow our own fresh vegetables．Andmay be keep afew chickens,couldn’t we?
B：Yes,and we can probablygrow a lot of our own food．
A：What are you thinking about growing,if we do take this place?
B：Well,it really isn’t big enoughfor corn．I thought we might try to raise a crop of potatoes．
A：Potatoes?There are a lot of work．
B：We are used to hard work,aren’t we?
A：Yes,we are．But themoney．Do we have enough to get started?Itseems likea dream．
B：I think we’ve saved enough．Wecan pay a little on the farm andmaybe put a few dollars down on the tractor,too．
