麻烦英语高手帮我检查一下我写的留学的动机信
字数有限,开头和结尾省去了,大家帮我看看中间 有没有什么错误?
I start to contact with material science when I entered the university.Until now I have spent almost four years studying different fields of material(mainly polymer) and other foundational subjects. In college,I had participated Scientific and Technological Innovation Project, studying about blood compatibility of Polyurethane whose surface is modified by polyethyleneglycol. Besides,as the main research direction of our department is biomaterial in medical use,I organised a popular science exhibition of medical material when I was in Student Union. Now I am doing my bachelor dissertation. There I research the synthesis and properties of transition and rare earth metal coordination polymers with N,O-Multidentate Ligands.
Through communication with our professors and seniors I realized that the development of material study in China is still in its beginning stage.Graduates in our major have problems finding a good job.And the most advanced technologies are in foreign countries.I believe that gaining experience abroad is one of the opportunities that has the most potential to define one’s character and improve professional skills. My parents agreed with me,so I made up my mind to go abroad for further study.
It is know to all that Germany, which enjoys a worldwide reputaion in advanced industry, has a long tradition for scientific elite.Higher education in Germany will be of great benefit to me for future career.I talked with some of my friends who have already studied in Germany. The rigorous academic attitude and advanced research facilities there deeply impressed me.
Bavaria is my favourite state of Germany. With a unqiue blend of tradition and hi-technology,it is also the economic powerhouse of Germany. Erlangen and its surrounding region is a well-known centre for world-class research in the area of advanced technology. Many electronics multinational large business companies have set their headquarters in or near the town.
For MAP, “elite study program” sounded challenging and promising.I like woking under stress and burden. But the interdisciplinary programme is what attracted me most, and this is also what truly resonates with my own career aspirations. As nanoscience and nanotechnology has been propelled to the forefront of this field, new materials are more and more depended on applied chemistry and processes of biological or chemical process technology. Therefore,it is important to combine these subjects together.MAP is not a traditional master in chemical engineering,it provides a mix of chemical and material processes which conform to the trend of development.Besides,I have heard that the MAP also provides training courses in soft skills. And I think it can help me to solve academic and social problems. If I were enrolled in MAP,I would like to finish my master degree in University and then look for some internship in Germany for some time before returning to China.
