The museum is open to the public(这里的to the public是作状语还是宾补?如果是状语的话,那么把这句改写为：The museum open to the public (把be open表语改为谓语open可否?）

首先be open to是一个词组,有三个意思：1,乐意接受,愿意考虑2,容易受到（批评,攻击等）3,还可以 .所以是不可以拆开来看的.
第二个问题,for最好不要改成to,因为for在这里有“适合于”的意思.
再问： 这位仁兄，我上面的问题有三种：一是for 能否改为to ？二是to the public是作状语还是宾补？三是把be open表语改为谓语open可否？）你解释了两种还是没能让我明白，还有一个没有解释了？
再答： 不是，你不可以把to the public放在一起，因为be open to是连在一起不可以拆开的词组。可以改成to，可是我觉得for更好一点。be open to中的open是形容词，如果你要改成动词open，可以说 The museum is opened to the public.
