it may be a good thing that english is becoming a global language. the question is whether any language should be allowed such flexibility that people begin to take liberties with it . eventually ,there may be no such thing as wrong english . the schoolboy in The Times cartoon was just speaking english in the way he liked. he knew nobody would blame him for getting his english wrong.
