如题原因..

could后面加动词原形,所以是show.
我想LZ这句话是关于虚拟语气的问题,虚拟语气后面的动词变形类似于动词过去式（一般来说是变成相应的过去式时态,比如现在时变成过去时,现在完成时变成过去完成时）.
比如 I wish he was here.这里的be动词就是过去式形式了.另外比较特别的am是变成were的,比如 I wish I were you.
说回上面那句,这种动词形式变形在could上已经表示出来了.
