Logic circuit in general comes under a branch of electronics known as digital applications as opposed to linear or analogue applications.Digital systems use signals,which are of pulse form,that is,a series of short-duration square waves.Analogue systems use signals of,or derived from,the familiar sine waveform.Amplifiers used in digital systems must be wide-band amplifiers because of the many harmonics that make up a square wave.
