我希望你当时也在那,你选择be doing还是比较正确的.
had been there,我希望你曾经去过那里.好像不是你要的意思.
were there,我希望你在那里,没有那种一直都在的那种持续的,不间断的感觉.
were being there,我希望你一直在那里,不间断的在那里.这样就可能会给人一种比较立体的,有时间延续行的感觉,强调的是being的动作.
如果不是那么强调动作,可以选were there；强调的是过去,用had been；强调的是动作的延续性,选were being there.
其实,在阅读中,都是不怎么区分意思的,因为感觉意思上有细微差别,但是不影响我们理解文章.当然,非得细抠字眼也都能分析的清楚.
