一定得选whose,
首先确定它是定语从句,而不是状语从句.
其次,看看主句缺少主语（the school shop） is closed for the holidays.,不能用where,因为where 只是在定语从句中作状语,或者只能引导状语从句.
再次,whose在定语从句中,相当于“of which” 或者" ‘s " 翻译成“.的” ,这个例子意思是“学校商店的顾客”.
最后,从句"customers are mainly students"只是用来解释说明这个school shop.如果,school shop后面没有那个邪恶的逗号,还可以用that来引导,算作一个同位语从句.（此点口语可以说得过去,中国的语法老师可能说不过去）
