13.Employees who operate powered vehicles must be certified and follow safe operating procedures.
14.Flammable and/or corrosive liquids must be stored and transported in approved containers.Only a day supply of flammable liquids may be stored outside of an approved flammable storage cabinet at any time.

21.Heat producing appliances such as; portable heaters,warming plates,coffee pots,hot pots,candle warmers and microwaves are not allowed in the building unless otherwise approved by the Facilities/EHS Department.
22.Employees shall not work alone in the manufacturing or laboratory areas.
23.Employees have the right and obligation to shutdown a process of piece of equipment that is unsafe.If the process or equipment is shutdown then the plant manager or designee must be notified immediately.
24.Contractors and vendors must follow American Superconductor EH&S rules.The employee that hires or utilizes the contractor or vendor must assure that the contractor or vendor is aware of their responsibilities.
