You are right, one of the reasons we encourage public transport is to help the environment. We also try to reduce the number of car journeys to/from new developments as a lot of roads in England are already very busy.
I am lucky enough to be able to walk to work as I live in the same town as I work (Basingstoke).
I also like travelling. Which countries have you been to. I have been to New York and LA in America, Sydney and Perth in Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong and Tokyo. I have also done alot of travelling in Europe.
Sorry I have not been able to reply sooner. I finish work at 5.30pm which I think is after midnight in China. I am holiday next week and the week after so I should be able to reply to you more often, if you would like me to do this.
