这个句子中为什么用has 构成现在完成时而不用have呢?

主语advertising,名词,广告的意思,而且是单数,所以要用has,不用have.
再问：请问我怎么区分什么时候用has 什么时候用have呢？
再答：如果主语是复数就用have，eg. we have many apples。如果主语是第三人称单数就用has eg. Tom has a pear.
