句子中的第二个as我不是很能理解,而且as have been 是省略了一个主语部分吗?省略的主语是不是前面的什么内容?
因为这个对理解句意和选出答案有比较大的影响,理解有出入可能会导致选错答案.
其实这整一句话是不是想说明虽然他的作品是浪漫主义但是和B和C时代的演奏有精神上的一直，而且和一些其他的演奏家（自从L之后的演奏家）的演奏方式也有相似？

as have been 倒装了,应该是 as . have been.你就看懂了.
GRE的阅读就这个尿性,很多翻译成中文你也看不懂,只能议会,语言这个东西到这个层面就是这样哎.不过这个句子不算难,主要是讲虽然是浪漫主义的演奏方式,但是还是比较贴近composer们compose这首曲子的时候想像的希望看到的演奏方式.不懂你就追问吧,我也不能保证我翻译准确就是了：）.希望可以帮到你

前半句的意思我还是挺明白的，就是后面那句意思很奇怪。。

再问： 两个as 是并列的嘛？还有一个就是官方的解释说其实这个人Landowska的表演是充满情感的，但是你提供的解释是说Landowska发起的演奏方法，这个我好像不太能够认同。这种more exacting but less emotionally resonant interpretationi应该是多数的harpsichordists 的演奏方法，而不是L发起的演奏方法吧?
再答： 嗯。首先说这个倒装，就是这样，必须是这样的，GRE最喜欢考这种句子，因为看快了看不懂。

然后，两个as是并列的，A was at least close to B as (have been) C (have been), 就是A跟C一样close to B咯。

playing was romantic 按照充满感情来理解是更好的这个依照官方比较好。
more exacting的演奏方法后面加了of most harpsichordists就是属于他们的，对，但是还有副词，since Landowska，所以应该是L开创的。当然这里这个应该不是重点。：）
再问： 涨姿势了！第一次看到as as的这种用法，或者说两个AS中间隔的太长导致看不太清楚。。看来我还得加强基本功，多读读几遍
