Dongying City,Shandong Province municipality,established in June 1983,the national planning of the Yellow River Delta cities,China's second largest oilfield - Shengli Oilfield is located.Located in the northeast of Shandong Province,the Yellow River delta estuary,internal control the Yellow River,outside near the Bohai Sea,the Bohai economic circle and the intersection of the Yellow River Economic Belt,the area has significant advantages.North temperate zone semi-moist continental climate,four distinct seasons,moderate temperatures,rain and heat in the same period,adequate light,neither Kushu cold,nor Yinyu drought.The average annual rainfall 533 mm,annual average temperature of 12.2 degrees Celsius.
Shengli Oilfield is China's important oil industrial base in the east,is the second largest oil field,located in the Bohai Sea,the Yellow River Delta area,excellent location,perfect infrastructure,transportation,communication development,in the Bohai Economic Rim and the Yellow River River economic zone to play a huge role.Shengli Oilfield under China Petrochemical Corporation,an oil and gas production is mainly set exploration,development,construction,operations,logistics,manufacturing and supporting a variety of management,social services as a whole,a complete range of professional large state-owned enterprises.In May 2000 the main part of its oil and gas exploration and development restructuring of China Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Co.,Ltd.,part of the existence of Shengli Petroleum Administration.Shengli Oil Field after 40 years of development and construction,have been discovered 73 oil fields,the highest annual production of 33,551,900 tons of crude oil,cumulative production in 2005 853 million tons of crude oil,production of natural gas 37.578 billion cubic meters.
Main scope of work across Shandong Province,Dongying,Binzhou,Dezhou,Jinan,Weifang,Zibo,Liaocheng and Yantai eight cities in 28 counties (districts),the main parts of the Yellow River in Dongying City in the mouth on both sides.And implementing risk exploration abroad,worked in Iran ﹑ Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan and other countries block access to part of the cooperation.
