You will note that this letter of credit is available by way of negotiation. At the time a complying presentation is made we would, if you so request, be pleased to consider discounting and effecting payment in advance of the maturity date with discount charges for the account of the beneficiary charged at 1.5% per annum (subject to a minimum charge of GBP250) for the amount of the presentation and tenor period, in addition to our cost of funds. Please note that this is not, and should in no way be construed as, a commitment by us to discount and effect payment in advance of the maturity date.
