Winter holiday is very meaningful for me, because at the most of the time, my family members usually work outside, such as my father, who works in Guangzhou；my mother,who works in Hangzhou； my elder brother, who works in Beijing； those are the most important people of my life，only near the Chinese New Year，can they come back to have a happy reunion Chinese New Year with me. In our Chinese traditional culture, reunion meanings everything for all the Chinese people. When the Chinese new year around the corner, hundred millions of people will back home,which is called the “spring rush”, the largest annual movement of people in the world, with a total of 2.38bn journeys over three weeks, surpassing even the Hajj, the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. Maybe “the spring rush” is a very important phenomenon to reflect our Chinese heavy parochialism. During my winter holiday, i had met some of my good friends at the class parties, which were extremely cordial and warm. In Chinese traditional culture, people always visit their relatives and friends during the Chinese New Year, which is a good way to keep and develop the relationships with our relatives and friends, i had visited my grandmother’s, aunt’s and other important friend’s. We usually get together to talk some common and interest topics, and eat a big lunch. Sometimes,i will play the cards with my friends, especially the “ fight the landlord” game,which is very interesting. Time flies, the winter holiday is soon over, but it had left many precious memories for me,i miss it very much.
