I enjoyed a very nice breakfast each morning and while I don’t object to prepared foods at buffets,it was rather nice to be able to order hot dishes.Service was efficient and it didn’t take much longer than a buffet (mornings are all about “fast” rather than haute cuisine in my book).I called upon room service twice,and though difficult to botch up a sandwich,food delivery was prompt and everything freshly-made.
The only slight negative I can indicate is not even under the Sofitel St.James’ control.I have a great fondness for Bloomsbury and found the St.James’ neighbourhood a bit… I don’t know… off.Likely just my own lack of familiarity.I finally found a Tesco,coffee and sandwich shops – so I’m sure it’s just a matter of me getting out of my comfort zone at Russell Square and getting to know another London neighbourhood.
Sofitel St.James would never be considered a budget hotel,but the costs were not unreasonable in the end for luxury accommodation.(I’ve paid far more for far worse in notable 5 star establishments).The hotel itself and the suite were of the finest standard but it was the service that made it that step above all other luxury hotels at which I’ve been privileged to stay.I would not hesitate to return to the Sofitel St.James.Really fabulous in every way.Highly recommended.

Have stayed in a few Paris hotels,not sure I'd return here.On the plus side,its very close to the metro and train station,you could see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel window (just),and it's clean and tidy.On the minus side,our room (11) was small,we only stayed three days,there wasn't enough room to keep clothes or the place tidy.Whoever squeezed the loo into the gap by the sink probably never sat on it,you needed a friend to help you get up and out of the gap.The room was too hot,although no radiator was on.There was no bath.There was no tea/coffee making in the room,and no offer from downstairs either,no internet access.
Staff were ok,as was breakfast.Outside you're pretty close to a red light area,we had no problem with this,but others may not be too keen.
I just think we've stayed in better places in Paris.

This hotel was in a quiet part of Paris,very close to a metro stop.Several nice bars and restaurants around and walking distance to the Arch de Triomphe.I would definitely stay here again.

每天早上我都享用一个很棒的早餐,其实我并不介意吃预先准备好的自助早餐,但可以叫现做的热餐却是相当不错.他们的点餐服务很有效率,并不需要比自助餐更长的时间（在我的概念里,早餐都是“快餐”,而不是烹饪美食）.我每天都使用两次客房订餐服务,虽然做一个三明治挺费劲的,不过他们送餐很迅速,东西也很新鲜.
唯一我能提点意见的甚至不在Sofitel St.James’的控制范围之内.我非常喜欢像Bloomsbury区域的那种环境,但我感觉Sofitel St.James’的周边区域就有点...我不知道该怎么说...游离.也可能只是我自己不熟悉的原因吧.后来还是给我找到了一间Tesco超市,还有些咖啡店和面包店 - 因此我相信这不过是我走出了让我感觉自在的罗素广场,走进了伦敦的另一区而已.
虽然Sofitel St.James’不会被定义为经济型酒店,但就豪华酒店的档次来说他们的收费却是非常合理（我曾经在某些差得多的著名5星级酒店住过,但花销却高得多）.酒店本身和套房都属于最优秀的标准,但使得他们比起所有其它我曾有幸留宿过的豪华酒店更胜一筹的,正是他们提供的优质服务.将来我会毫不犹豫地再回到Sofitel St.James’入住.各方面都实在是无可挑剔般出色.强烈建议.

我住过巴黎的一些酒店,但我不太会再回到这家.先说加分的一面,它非常靠近地铁站和火车站,你可以从酒店的窗户看到艾菲尔铁塔（正对着）,另外它也很干净整洁.而扣分的一面,我们的房间（11号）很小.我们只呆了3天,房间的空间小的不足以让衣服和房间保持整洁.也不知道是谁把马桶挤装在洗手盆旁边的沟沟里,估计他从来没有在上面坐过的,你得需要朋友帮忙你才能站起来和挤出来.而且就算没开暖气,房间里也太热了.也没有洗浴间.房间没有提供茶和咖啡,楼下也没有提供,上网也不提供.
工作人员还算可以,早餐也差不多.外面离红灯区非常近,这一点我们倒无所谓,不过其他住客可能就不大会喜欢了.
我会认为我们在巴黎住过的其它酒店要比这家好.

这家酒店位于巴黎的一个比较安静的区域,离地铁站非常近.附近有几个不错的酒吧和餐厅,到凯旋门只有几步距离.我绝对会再到这家来入住的.
