Thank you for your letter.I’m always thrilled to hear from you and am delighted you have taken the time to write to me.I love having your thoughts about the films and telling me what is going on in your life.
I am really enyouing working on the PRISONER OF AZKABAN with Alfoson Cuaron who is creating a very exciting movie.I have recently been working on the Shrieking Shack scenes with Cary Oldman,Timothy Spall,Alan Rickman and David Thewlis.It is a very intense scene and I couldn’t believe I was in the same room as these actors.
How exciting was the build up to the launch of THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX.I LOVED it!I locked myself in my bedroom and didn’t stop reading it(apart from meal breaks!).What a move!
Music still occupies a lot of my time and I am currently into THE PIXIES,THE DANDYWARHOLS,THE STROKES and THE KINGS OF LEON.
I’ve also seen X-MEN2,BRUCE ALMIGHTY and BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE which I thought was fantastic.
Recently reports appeared in the press that I am not doing the GOBLET OF FIRE.This is rubbish.I really don’t where these stories come from but it just goes to prove that you shouldn’t believe everything you read in newspapers.
Over the past few months I have met many sick children who have come for a set visit from vatious organisations around the world.I am inawe of their strength and courage and I was delighted that I could spend some time chatting to rhem and their families.Harry would be very proud of each and everyone of them.
I hope wherever you are in the world you have a fantastic summer and you continue to enyou the HARRY POTTER films as much as I enjoy making them.
I look forward to giving you an update on the film’s progress and my news in a couple of months.
