You are Chris.You received a thank-you card from Johnny,an eight-year-old boy living next door.
Dear Chris,
Thanks a lot.I was very scared when the accident happened at my home.Luckily you came to help me.
My mum fell story about leaving me alone at home today.Don't be angry with my mum anymore,OK?(I was more scared when you talked to her loudly on the phone!)
Write in you dairy about the incident.Describe what happened,what you said to Johnny's mother and how you felt about in the incident.

1.Use the past tenses to write about the incident.

I was doing some chores around the house when i heard the loud banging noise coming from next door.I got outside quickly to see what was happening,turns out that a stranger was banging on the neighbor's window.I went over to ask him what he wanted,but as soon as he saw me he started running away.By then I have realized that he was probably a robber trying
to break into the house,and figured that he ran away because I looked pretty built.Then I saw through the window that the neighbor's boy,Johnny,was hiding under the table,shaking.
"Everything's okay now!" I yelled to him,and he finally recovered enough to open the door and let me in.
"Where's your mum?" I asked.
"She went to buy some fruits." He weakly replied.
"And left you home alone?" I sounded a little angry now,I was angry at the fact that his mum is so irresponsible.
Before he could reply,there was a knock on the door.I got up to open the door,and Johnny's mum was outside.
"How can you leave your 8-year old child alone in the house?!Do you know what just happened?A robber tried to break in!Can you imagine what would have happened to your kid?" I was so angry at her that I could not contain my temper.
"What?" The mum blinked,clearly not absorbing what I said.Then a moment later,she rushed to her son,and started crying.
"Thank you,Chris,than you!" She said to me between sobs.
I sighed,and left her and her child and went back to my house.
Before I closed her door,I said to her:"Don't let it happen again."
