The International Horticultural Exposition,also known as International Horticultural Festival ,is a top-level professional international exposition.It has a history of 140 years old.
SY International Flower and Gardening Exposition 2006 will be held between May 1 and October 31,2006,lasting 180 days.It is undertaken by SY Municipal Government.” International Exposition Garden” is centered by SY Botanical Garden which has already been completed.
Expo’06 displays the horticultural works of various countries as well as various internal provinces.Meanwhile,the visitors will be have a chance to enjoy the ancient,modern gardening of different countries.The different display areas set each other off and form a pleasing view in beautiful contrast.It is a picture full of life!

On Man And Nature
Nowadays, humanity is faced with a lot of troublesome problems: energy crisis, AIDS, cancer, pollution, population explosion, ect. The case of nature is scarcely better than man’s. It is also in deep water now. Why? Does it have anything to do with each other? What’s the relationship between man and nature?
As we know, the nature is the most important to man. People depend on the nature to live and man needs fresh air, water and vegetable, which all come form the nature. The industry needs fuel, raw material, which also root form the nature. What’s more, man also belongs to the nature; he is high rank animal existing in nature. As a consequence, if we destroy the nature, in some extent, we will diminish ourselves.
However, human beings haven’t paid more attention to this argument. They upset the ecological balance and destroy the environment surrounding. For example, smoke stackers have disgorged poisonous gases into the atmosphere; factories have dumped waste into rivers and streams; forests have been felled out; citizens haven dumped rubbish everywhere; groundwater have been drawn out unrestrictedly. As the scientists predict, the situation will be severe if we continue to do so. And some day, human beings will destroy the whole earth and lose the right to live.
Nowadays, our country promotes the continuable develop policy as well as the whole world. Now that it has been realized that man and nature should live together harmoniously, which is the sole solution to the existed severe circumstances, why, still, there are people who earn their living by hunting and so forth? Mankind is the one with motility, the responsibility to find ways out lies with us. There are some people who support that we should firstly solve the mankind’s problems and only then can we save nature. Does it hold water? Definitely no. As far as I am concerned, both man and nature are equal. Of course, they may not necessarily be born equal, but they are created equal. Never should we ignore nature, or it will serve our right.
As to our daily life, seldom do we regard nature as equcal as ourselves. Now nearly all people reckon that actions should be taken. The very thing I hope all of us can fulfil is that never step on the grass again please. Saying is always easier than action. But why not just have a try, everybody can make it.
