摘 要
《Romeo and Juliet》和《The Butterfly Lovers》这两支中西哀艳的爱情悲歌,世代传唱,经久不衰,其对于真挚爱情的追求留给人们对永恒的爱的期望.本文试从中西方不同的文化背景、爱情观及伦理观的进一步比较两部爱情悲剧存在的差异,从而揭示不同的民族文化心理结构造就了两部悲剧作品男女主人公的不同的爱情表现以及戏剧中所表现出的不同文化差异.
首先,本论文从三个方面探讨《Romeo and Juliet》与《The Butterfly Lovers》之间爱情悲剧的差异.一,作品的样式不同.中西方不同的文化背景决定了两部作品风格的差异.二,塑造的人物性格不同.受中西方不同的爱情观及伦理观的影响,两部作品中的主人公性格也南辕北辙.三,不同的悲剧过程及结局.西方国家的人文主义、现实主义与中国传统儒家思想的中庸主义、浪漫主义的差异确定了两部作品悲剧过程及结局的不同.最后,通过总结两剧的不同之处,探讨戏剧中所表现出的不同文化差异.
