but,however可否用在句首?
比如说（大侠们顺便看看有没有语法错误）:
There used to be someone to whom I could love.There used to be someone to whom I could buy posies for. There used to be someone to whom I could ask,"do you love me?"(在这里可否用And?)I'm sure that the answer would be yes.（这里可否用But?）Now there is no one, no one at all.

I'm pretty sure that the answer would have been 'yes,I do' .
However / But now there is no one,no one at all.
But/However都表示转折,可以互换,However语气强一些.
用could have done形式表达更好一些,表示原本能够去做,但是实际上没有做.
