Pollution is a major problem in the world today.It is not just people who are affected by pollution; animals and plants are also affected by pollution.Discuss the causes and effects of water pollution.（讨论因果关系） 有要求说要结构分明.

Water pollution has become a serious problem since the industry revolution. However, it is always ignored by most people. Actually, the distribution of fresh water is not balance on earth. Therefore, in some areas that are short for water, to protect the precious water source is necessary.
People, who committed the mistakes that polluted water are not the only victims on earth. There are many species that affected by water pollution exist. For example, if some kind of noxious chemical substance is flushed into river that is the main water resource on that area, the loss is great and painful. Many marine creatures would be simply killed by poisonous water. People, who are standing on the top of the food pyramid, will be the biggest victims according to the food chain theory.
The causes of water pollution are various. Some potential causes are even not be found. But we can summarize such causes into three categories.
First of all, water for farming with high density of pesticide and fertilizer will flush into nearby rivers and lakes. It is hard to imagine that the water for irrigation is the source for drink water as well. So, in some ares, people just drink such noxious water.
Secondly, used water from city can also be a big problem. We all know that city is a place where a large number of people living together. Therefore the consuming of water is incredibly higher than other areas. In some cities that do not have water cleaning and filtering system, used water is just poured into some water resource.
Last but no least one is the chemistry factory accident. In such situations, it quite harmful to both human being and other creatures sharply. As I have mentioned above, they may be just killed in the accident.
