Payment terms,GE Sensing as a Worlwide manufacturer has a directive to accept only 90days of payment terms for any new manufacturers.Currently we are implementing a new payment system called TPS,which allow us to pay sooner then 90days,but we are applying for aliquot discount related to the day of payment.
Many of our suppliers are already realizing the benefits of the Program.Through electronic funds transfers,the Program results in significant reductions in your accounts receivable outstanding,and can considerably lower your collection and administrative costs.Additional benefits to you of the program include:
· Improved cash flow
· Reduced days of sales outstanding
· Daily instead of weekly payments
· Early warning for mismatched invoices
· Prioritized invoice processing routines
· Detailed remittance advice through the Internet
· Dedicated Customer Service team at GE Corporate for payment inquiries
Under the Program,invoices are processed upon receipt at our Accounts Payable center and a discount is deducted from the gross amount due.The amount paid to you after deduction of the discount shall constitute full satisfaction of all amounts due to you by GE Inspection Technologies for such invoices.The discount is calculated based on the number of days between the actual payment date and the normal payment date by GE Inspection Technologies (see enclosed file).The Program replaces any payment term offered by you today to GE Inspection Technologies in respect of early payment.As a consequence of the Program,you agree that you will not issue a VAT bearing credit note to GE Inspection Technologies nor make any adjustment to your VAT account in respect of the discounts earned by GE Inspection Technologies.In the event
that you issue such a credit note to GE Inspection Technologies,the credit note will not be accepted by GE Inspection Technologies and will be returned to you.Each party carries its own responsibility to correctly report discounts given and received for accounting and fiscal purposes.
Our ussual payments are between 15 - 30days in average,applying 3% discount and less.
